Dog park day

rogs at Marymoor
With the pets at Marymoor park, one of our favorites. Tons of wide open space for dogs to run around, with a stream for splashing and fetching. I forgot to bring Maggie’s tennis ball so she fetched all the other dogs’ balls. Heh. She’s a fast swimmer!

Last night I had a dream about RuPaul. We were smooshed together in the backseat of a car talking talking talking–too bad I can’t remember what we were talking about. Even in the dream I was starstruck, though, I remember that.

wet pets
Wet pets! The weather is supposed to be gorg this weekend–we’ll probably go back. The Boy is going to ski down a mountain–Mt. Rainier, I think. THIS bad boy.

swim rogs
Yesterday we went to the park for play time and then stopped at Dairy Queen for one butterscotch-dipped cone and two dog cones, ’cause why not? The girl really scrimped on the dog cones, though. Of course, you can’t really complain when something is free.

pretty scene
Isn’t it pretty? It’s always relaxing going to this park. I love it.

We ran out of furnace oil again this morning. I’m tempted not to refill it. I mean, it’s MAY, do we really need oil? (answer: probably)

Maybe today I’ll put on the overpriced sundress I paid 70+ dollars for from Modcloth and snap some pics. I bought a sundress at Old Navy (don’t judge me) for 20 bucks that I actually like better. It’s the length! Modcloth’s dresses are all too short! Or I am getting OLD (both).

Bear Cub surveys the water
I am sooooo stoked to camp this summer. Also we decided on our vacation this year: a week on the Oregon coast, in August. The Boy’s never been, and it’s beautiful. We can also visit Erika and her new baby in Portland, that will be sweeeeeeet.

Happy Thursday, blog readers! The few, the proud. What vacations do you have planned for this year?

  1. Omg that is a whole lot of park. How beautiful! My Peetee would love it!!!!!! I wish I was there right now and not on my computer……2 more hours and counting. I wanna see your $70 Modcloth dress! I agree they are overpriced not high quality and too short but I’m short so I like that. I also like Old Navy but the Goodwills here have so much of their stuff I usually get it there for cheap. They have cute dresses. I have decided I will only buy Modcloth when they have that killer once a year sale because otherwise we are getting ripped off.
Has anyone told you your beautiful today, well me be the first, hot dam your a beauty!

ps….never thought about not trusting people with bad habits I think you are on to something there.

    1. Aw thanks Krista. I will take pictures of the Modcloth dress–of course the sky just completed clouded over! TYPICAL. I love the Goodwill close to my house–I rarely go to Old Navy. In fact I’ve stated, repeatedly, NO MORE OLD NAVY–but it really is a cute sundress.
