Work outfit today--knee length butterfly skirt from "Sewing by Selena" on Etsy
Blog! It’s too nice outside to be blogging today, blog! But here I am, because I LOVE YOU. Blog. Love. Bloglove. Here’s a recent-ish work outfit–I bought that skirt from a shop on Etsy called “Sewing by Selena”. Once it arrived, I realized I could have easily made it myself, but TOO LATE! It’s cute. Note to self: break out the sewing machine more often.

Shellac attack
Current shellac manicure: neon coral. I went without Corinne for the first time–all of her money is currently going to the cats, ohhhh, the cats!

Rainbow over the tomato plants in our garden
Our impressive tomato plants. Too bad we realized after we planted a zillion tomato plants that neither one of us really like tomatoes, ha ha! Well…BLTs are delicious. I could eat a BLT every day. Maybe.

Gorgeous orange roses.
Gorgeous orange roses near one of the parks we frequent. This iphone photo was edited with just Instagram–Instagram recently upgraded itself on my phone (I never upgrade anything–it just automatically does it after a while), and the new options are fancy! Sharpening, saturation and everything! Maybe I don’t need to use the “Camera Plus” app any more.

Impulse buy at the drugstore. Hey, it's nearly summer...time to break out the neons, right?
Impulse buy at the drugstore that had me singing “Fergalicious” for the rest of the day. I put a coat of the pink over my already neon red toenails, and the result was: NEON RED PINK. Ooh baby. I’ll probably put the neon green on for the wedding I’ll be attending this weekend.

Sweaty Sunday morning with #blogilates. Tip: always match your lipstick to your sports bra
Sunday morning’s Blogilates session was improved 73.5% by the neon pink sports bra and matching Revlon balm stain in neon pink.

Pretty flowers on our walk today.
Every day walks with my animals yield nice nature photos. Today the weather is so ridiculously beautiful, I don’t plan on being on this computer much longer. Nature calls!

New glasses from #zenni--rainbow tortoiseshell with fun rhinestone details. I was skeptical that a 15 dollar pair of frames could be cool, but they are!
Even after Brenna’s glowing review I was still extremely skeptical about ordering glasses online from Zenni, but surprise! They’re fabulous! The grainy quality of this photo does not show that they are actually rainbow tortoiseshell, with cool little rhinestone triangles on the sides. I’m in love. 15 dollar frames, can you believe it?! SOLD.

Oh yeah.
Trader Joe’s always yields the most delicious foodstuffs. Not pictured: Masala burgers, maple leaf cookies, and the decadent ice cream sandwiches that averaged around 450 calories but were SO DAMN GOOD. Unghf.

Bi-annual haircut from my favorite new hairdresser. I like what she did with the bangs.
Why is this so grainy? Probably because I took it in low light conditions. The iphone 4 isn’t so great with low light conditions. I got it together and actually made an appointment and saw my fabulous new hairdresser Erica yesterday, the one who saved my first horrible perm a few months ago by giving me a really GOOD perm. As much as I want some partial highlights to dry out my oily hair, my hair is pretty damn light right now, how much blonder do I need to be? I opted instead for just a haircut. She did SUCH a good job on my notoriously difficult bangs. I need to remember to get my hair cut by a professional more often! Instead of hacking away bitterly in the morning with some old dull kitchen scissors. For, um, example.

TONIGHT we are going out to celebrate one of my bosses moving to Virginia. It’s a sad thing but I’ve had over a month to deal with her leaving me so I’ll be okay. Sighhhhh. It sucks when you finally have cool co-workers and they leave you. The party is at an Irish pub. I hope they serve ginger ale!
