The magical mystery tour is coming to take you away

Yesterday morning I drove to downtown Seattle to the Queen Mary Tea Room to celebrate my old old old old old friend Christy’s bridal shower. I was 20 minutes early, so I had plenty of time to take pictures of all the feminine tea accessories and embark on a 3-hour tea drinking marathon that left me shaky and light-headed.

I looked like this. I have no idea why all of my self-portraits at the Queen Mary turned out blurry…I blame the tea.

Christy showed up wearing a dress that I OWN. Crrrraaaaaazy.

The final member of our party was the girl who threw the party, named Sarah. I had met her once before at Christy’s birthday party last year. We had the traditional “high tea”, and since I was actually starving this time, not slightly full like I was in Victoria it hit the spot. I gave Christy two big tubes of Pacifica body butter in coconut vanilla and blood orange, some Pacifica body wash, Burt’s Bees lip balm and a beautiful silver pendant with pale lavender stones. She is 13 years older than her husband-to-be. I wish them all the best!

I have been thoroughly enjoying my trail runs lately. In fact, I’m about to embark on one right now, right after this coffee disappears.

It didn’t really show up well, but Joshy’s hair is “Midnight Blue”. I love this hair dye phase he’s in right now. It’s HOT.

Josh cut the biggest poppy off the plant and brought it inside. When I asked why, he told me we’d enjoy it more this way. He’s right! It’s lovely.

Today I wore this rainbow crystal pendant that was passed down from Joshy’s grandmother. I love it. Also, I think yellow may be my new power color.

Gotta RUN! Have a flab-u-lous week. I know I will!
