Here’s a silhouette of Maggie that I pulled out of my butt painted the other day. I had planned on doing silhouettes of the dogs a long time ago, but just needed a little push. I’m tempted to do a silhouette of Bear Cub’s tail instead of her head.

I mean, look at it.

Maggie makes taking profile shots easy-peasy. Not that Bear Cub, though! With her it’s work, work, work! What a diva.

Some more progress on the diptych. It was virtually impossible to mix the exact flesh tone for the arms that I used for the rest of her body, so I ended up painting all of her skin over again. Eh.

Hey lookie lookie, it’s my beautiful neon bike! Can you believe it’s almost been three years since I took it to Burning Man???

I have to say, ever since the Color Run I’ve been craving Burning Man, even though I know there’s not a chance that we’re going (is anyone going? Stupid lottery system!). We definitely have to hit up Pride, though. I think this year I’ll wear more sensible shoes…so I can receive “Bear Hugs”. I NEED A BEAR HUG!

Last night the coffeemaker broke, for no good reason at all, which is horrible and just wrong. It was a Christmas present, and it doesn’t seem like we’ve even had it that long. Three years? That’s not very long! Now I have to go out and buy a new one today. I suspect Fred Meyer is going to savagely overcharge me, but I’m too lazy to go anywhere else.
