This is my happening and it freaks me out

“Akismet has protected your blog from 192,578 spam comments already.” My my, that’s alotta spam. I wonder what number of spam comments popular blogs get? Are blogs still popular?

I love Bear Cub, but I wish her breath smelled better.

Hieeeeee blog. Let’s see. There is still a world-wide pandemic happening. Seattle has moved into “Phase 2” since I last wrote on this blog, which means I have an appointment to get a haircut this evening. However, we’re not back to school or gym yet, at this point.

I will always be a dog person. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’š

It’s tempting to just quit paying 700$ a month and keep Goo at home, really. He doesn’t seem to mind. And I’m already paying the babysitter between 3 and 400 dollars EVERY WEEK anyway.

Downtown Seattle last night during the protest on Capital Hill. Kind of beautiful, really. Thanks @edgar.delave

An evil cop kneeled on a black man’s neck for 9 minutes and killed him, kicking off Black Lives Matter protests world-wide. Seattle has been no exception. Here’s an amazing shot taken by a drone of one of those protests, this past month.

Sign of the times.

A new sign of the times.

@flynnpobrien, look what you inspired! โœจ

My husband was inspired by the horrific home bleach job my cousin Flynn recently received and decided to bleach his own long-ass hair. Results!

Here they are! No filter needed. Iโ€™m obsessed with these flowers. Totally taking a clipping this year. โœ‚๏ธ

Yes, year after year I forget how much I love these flowers until they pop up in my neighbor’s yard. Want!

Done, with no pieces missing! This one was easy. Now Iโ€™ve made a deal with myself: no more puzzles until I finish ONE art project. My annual summer art show got canceled this year (thanks, COVID), but that doesnโ€™t mean I should stop creating.

Still puzzling daily BUT I also have an art project going, so I don’t feel as “guilty”.

A ripe salmonberry is a rare treatโ€”before the birds get to them.

Goo and I look for ripe salmonberries on our trips to the park, which luckily are unaffected by the coronavirus.

The wigs are packed away right now so instead of Wig Wednesday, itโ€™s Wacky Glasses Wednesday! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Aside from Wacky Sunglasses Wednesday, we have a family rave nearly every week with trance and glow sticks in Goo’s room. Good Times! I wonder how many of my fellow now middle-aged ravers have mini parties with their children.

Rainy day walkies. ๐ŸŒฟ

June is half-wet, like always. Bear Cub doesn’t mind.

Sunday morning art time with Goo. ๐ŸŽจ

My little artist child. Love it.

Helmet baby! Ooh yeah, I got a helmet baby! ๐ŸŒŸ

Look who got a helmet! He also has physical therapy once every 2 weeks. He was doing great with the helmet until this week when he developed a little sore on the side of his head. I had to take him into the clinic and have her carve out a little indent where the sore is, and we had the helmet off of him for a day or two. Little dude has sensitive skin like his mama.

Happy Frock Friday! Stoked that itโ€™s finally summer-ish weather in Seattle.

C’est moi! Contrary to “casual Friday” I have decided to re-start “Frock Friday”, which will be 47747348 more fun when I can fit into more of my dress wardrobe.

Happy Frock Friday! Excuse the messy room. I have like, kids and stuff. ๐Ÿ’™

This was yesterday’s Frock. It was “pajama day” at work, yuck.

๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

I DIE AT THE CUTENESS AWWWWWWWWW. Well, it’s just about time for my nap. I was up at 5 this Saturday morning with my adorable redhead, and I’m feeeeeeling it. So long!
