“I like boring things.”*

Today we put up Halloween decorations for approximately 20 minutes before we got bored. The Boy spent a long time messing around with the antennae to get reception to watch football, GROAN.

“Grrrrreat, football. Just like a man!” I complained.

“How many men paint while they watch football?” he boasted.

“I don’t know. How many?”

red leotards
Leotarded lesbians: the only good thing about “The Sentinel”. Not to mention one of those lesbians was played by the ever-batshit crazy Sylvia Miles.

I’m trying to convince the Boy to go see “Sinister” with me, but it seems unlikely to happen. 1., because he finally got the stupid antennae to work, and 2. because he hates horror movies. I guess they “scare” him or something. BOO!

giant hula hoop
Check out this big ass hula hoop! That’s from a documentary we watched recently called “Breaking and Entering”, about people who are in the Guinness Book of World Records, one of my ongoing obsessions. I need to get in there, somehow. But for what?

  1. Ever since you mentioned this movie to me, I haven’t been able to get it out of my head. I looked on IMDB and saw this great quote,

Scrappy Holmes: So why did you leave the body there? It would seem to me that if you didn’t want to get caught, you’d find some way to dispose of it.
Bernie Tiede: Oh, no, no. No, I could never do that. That was never my intention. Everyone deserves a proper burial. And I was… I was just waiting for my chance to give her one.

Too funny! Besides, a movie with a character named Scrappy Holmes is a must see. Hope you like it, Liz!
