Happy Thursday! Here are my teal feathered false eyelashes–a little more green than the blue shown on the box, but whatcha gonna do. One of them is a little wonky, and I’m not sure how to fix it. Are these my first feathered false eyelashes?! Could be!

Yesterday I had an unusual amount of excess energy and spent a couple of hours painting, which I haven’t done in…ages. It felt goooood. I also picked up a pair of brown shoes that I spray painted white about 2 years ago with the plan to glitter them up and started…glittering them up.

My old method, of painting an object, covering it in glitter, blowing away the glitter and then spackling fixative over the top, is FAR less effective (and messy) than my current method: mixing glitter and Mod Podge together, and painting that on the object. No shedding! Tutorial to come!

“What happens when it starts cracking?” said the Boy last night, eying my current project.

“Why would you even say that?” I cried, slipping my feet inside the shoes. Horrendously uncomfortable. Oh well, it’s “art”.

Where did all that energy come from? My current Fatkins diet of meat/cheese/lettuce? I bought the tiniest rotisserie chicken you’ve ever seen yesterday from Whole Foods (whole paycheck)–11 dollars. Insane. I’ve lost 5 pounds! I seemed to have conquered my dark chocolate craving for now–it’s just been temporarily replaced by a sugar-free “double chocolate” pudding craving. Eh.
