Dogs + Nature

"Let us in! Let us in!"
Let’s explore my week through Instagram photos! Because a lot of the time, I just can’t be bothered to carry around my big huge heavy (and partially broken) camera. This particular picture of the rogs was very popular on IG. The moment I posted it, it got over 30 “likes”–how is that even possible, that fast? IG is weird. There are a lot of fake “followers” out there that always have one photo and the same, canned description of themselves: “Coffee lover. Alcoholic. Loves people!” It’s odd.

Dreamy ferns and flowers.
This is the “off leash forest area” of a park in Snohomish we’ve gone to a couple of times this week. On “National Running Day”, I even attempted a little running, which is really hard when you have PMS boobs. Guess what today is? National Donut Day! Ah, America. You so crazy.

Awww their butts are touching! They never do that.
I was sitting at the computer the other day and I looked down and the girls looked like THIS. MAWWWW! They never touch like that! Usually they get pissed when I force them to make bodily contact. It was a special moment. I think maybe they were begging for whipped cream at the time, but still.

At Marymoor Park today.
The always beautiful Marymoor Park, in Renton. One of my faves.

I see you, heron!
I even saw a heron! This is an example of when my “real” camera would have taken a far superior photo, but that’s okay.

Swimming Maggie!
Marymoor, same day. Since I want to exercise outside more, that means the dogs get more exercise too, so everyone is happy.

Today's park adventure.
The Snohomish park, yesterday. We met a golden retriever who was in love with me, a lab wearing a tee-shirt and various other dogs who were mostly ignored by Bear Cub and Maggie. They don’t often engage in a lot of play any more. At least, not consistently. Although Bear Cub and Lily have been known to play together for HOURS! (I love that)

So it’s the weekend again, eh? What are you doing this weekend, blogfriends? I’d like to go for a hike, maybe wash my filthy car, that’s about all I have planned. Trying to save money–it’s NO FUN.

  1. D’awwww, I like the butt-touchin’ dog photo, heh.

I’ve had a lot of weird IG “likers” lately too, except it’s all the “get 10000000000 followers fast!” kind. So annoying.

    1. That’s what I mean! There’s so many of them! I get all excited about a new follower and then see that it’s FAKE. Siiiiigggghhhhh.
