Flowers and carbs and dogs and art

Prezzie from Josh, on Valentine’s Day. Or maybe it was the day before Valentine’s Day, the day he proposed to me 7 (7!) years ago. 7 year itch? That movie is terrible and also very very good.

If you get the opportunity, I recommend you stuff some of these in your mouth. Mmmm worth it!

Tiny hamburger doggy treats. You know I love small things!

Pouting on my (former) boss’s desk, my last day of working two jobs, last Friday. Good God, tomorrow is already Friday AGAIN? Time is moving too quickly. Must be all those naps I took this week.

Low carbs diets can be boring. It’s best not to be too uptight about these things.

Sometimes I want to hibernate until June.

Exploring new dog parks, meeting new furry friends.

Now how did Joshy know I’ve always wanted a bamboo plant? The pink flowers in it are fake.

In between naps, I sometimes glam out and play around in my dress closet.

The bulbs are completely up! And it’s not even March.

This is the mildest winter I can recall, in Washington.

This summer I want to spend more time in/near water.

With this gang.

Pretty mural outside a restaurant outing recently.

I mean, LOOK AT THIS THING. Talk about a gift! My gay male Instagram readers enjoyed it.

Spring is in my heart! Maybe I’ll shellac my fingernails pastel, next. Pastel blue? Green?

I need to move some artwork. Like from my house, to YOURS.

Someone e-mailed me recently asking if I could make “Candy Darling with Roses” and “Holly Woodlawn with Stars” available as prints, and because I am always eager to SHARE ART I made them prints on Imagekind, here and here.

I don’t know what the deal is with Zazzle but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to just make prints available on there, JUST PRINTS, not stickers and tee-shirts and all that other crap. Same with Cafepress–do they not even have a prints option any more? I could call customer service but I’d rather just whine about it here.

I snapped this hovering in my neighbor’s yard. She recently had a giant tree in her front yard hacked down and I actually whined about it to the landscaping guy cutting it down, like some kind of tree-hugger. Shee-yit.

Look it’s meeee! Looking sunshine-y in spite of my inability to lose weight. BAH HUMBUG. I may have to start running, and I’m not looking forward to it. It may be the only way to make this carcass BUDGE.

Heigh ho! My goal this weekend is to finish the current painting so I can start a series of watercolor flower-and-butterfly paintings for Mumsie! Doesn’t that sound niiiiiice? Ooh, maybe in time for Mother’s Day.
