I’m Liz, and I’m Liz.

Hey dudes! Happy Wednesday. I’m in a good mood today because I took Allegra for the first time this morning, and 90% of all of the annoying symptoms I’ve had for the last __ days like a headache and sore throat and itchy eyes cleared up! Magical!

Hmmm? Oh let's face it, I'll watch anything directed by Gregg Araki. 😍

Gregg Araki is magical too. Here’s an advertisement in my “Elle” magazine for a commercial he made, not something I would normally care about but since it’s Gregg Araki you should watch it. Here!

This movie is even better the second time around.

Something else you should watch: “Birdman”. It was one of the few films I’ve seen in the theater in the last few years and even better the second time around! Just don’t watch it if you’re feeling anxious.

Baby Jane Holzer + one of my all-time fave designers, Anna Sui, in the September "Elle" πŸ’–βœ¨πŸŒŸ

Another shot from my “Elle” magazine–Anna Sui, who has always been one of my favorite designers, with Baby Jane Holzer, who bitched it up in “Ciao! Manhattan”.

Neon print Capri pants + fanny pack. There's no shame in my dog park outfit game (maybe there should be?) 🐢

Josh hates my workout pants and I don’t care. I think they’re FUN! The fanny pack really amps the look up.

Saw this little guy outside the house, just relaxing in the sun 🌞

Look at this beautiful dragonfly, just chilling on the house the other day. I’ve seen lots of blue dragonflies around, but not red. I moved in closer with the camera and he flitted off.

Running out of days warm enough for outdoor splashy dog fun! πŸ’¦

The girls and I are running out of days warm enough to swim. This was a filthy little pond at one of our favorite dog parks. We had a terrible storm here while I was visiting Boise and the wind knocked trees all over the dog park. It was disappointing to keep going down trails that were blocked. After two miles, we left.

Bear Cub and I enjoying the silence at the park this afternoon. 🌿

Schnubs and I enjoying a rare moment of silence at the park. Ahhhhh.

Jenny Slate on "Drunk History" πŸ‘Œ

Jenny Slate on “Drunk History”: hilarious. I loved her as Liz on “The Kroll Show”.

Completed an 8 mile run with J and the dogs this morning--the longest run I've ever done in my life! My boss talked me into running a half-marathon next month and I've been training for it. Very surreal--I hated running growing up and now I do it for "fun

Saturday: my first 8 mile run EVER, with Josh and the girls. Maggie was fine the day after, but she’s had a slight limp since Monday. Poor old Maggie dog!

Josh’s parents stayed with us Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night to put a French drain in the backyard and add a rain gutter to the back patio. Fleeta helped me finish painting the office AND weed the backyard, which was really really kind.

A. stayed for dinner and then folded all our napkins into fun shapes. He called this one "pinwheel" (I was hoping it wasn't "swastika"). PS, Happy Rosh Hashanah!

Sunday night Josh’s friend stayed for dinner after helping dig the French drain. He folded all of our napkins into fun shapes. He called this one a pinwheel, but to me it looked slightly like a swastika. Roops! Speaking of Jews, sorry Mom I forgot to celebrate Rosh Hashana this year! Shucks.

I've always been attracted to the Hotel Nexus building πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›

On the way to little Ronia’s birthday party, I snapped a picture of the Hotel Nexus. I love the design!

On your mark, get set...

The dogs get ready to blast off down the trail.

Ch-ch-ch-changes πŸƒπŸ‚πŸ

Fall is coming! Hey, that means I don’t have to shave my legs. SCORE.

Who's a happy outdoor Cub? πŸƒ

Happy Schnubs outside yesterday. Currently she’s curled up at my feet nervously, while Josh tries to figure out the location of the chirping smoke detector in our house. I mean really, it shouldn’t be THAT hard.

Breaking out the winter cap with Bear Cub πŸƒ

Yesterday was cold enough to warrant breaking out my favorite knit cap.

Always inspiring. 🎨

Pretty soon camping and hiking season will be over, and I need to shift back in to Painter Mode. Mucha is always inspiring.
