Tats, “The Room”, and wet dogs

moon fake tattoo
On Saturday I gave myself this cute little fake tattoo. I have a whole stash of fake tattoos (for some reason); sometimes they’re fun to wear. Anyway I couldn’t resist because…

colorful shirt
…it perfectly matched my shirt, SEE? That squarish-looking white thing you can see on my right boob is my “Activelink” that I wear for WW. I received my “report” this morning and evidently I made 122% of my fitness goal last week! Awwwrite! At least I’m moving it around more. It’s good for me.

wet dogs in motion
On Saturday Corinne and I took the rogs to Magnuson Park, near her house. Lots of trails and large open doggie-friendly spaces and WATER! Maggie’s favorite.

After the park we picked up lunch (salad for me; sandwich for Corinne) and went back to her place so I could show her “The Room”. Incidentally, I found out later that this past weekend marked the 10 year anniversary of “The Room”, so I guess the timing was perfect, eh?

Maggie in the water
I was hoping she’d get really baked and then I could live tweet her reactions to “The Room” but she didn’t smoke. “I don’t think being high would help,” she explained. We fast-forwarded through the love scenes, which is really the best way to watch the film, because listen, nobody wants to see Tommy Wiseau’s gross stringy body pumping away. We cackled our way through the movie.

“Now, aren’t you glad you had that experience?” I asked her when it was over, and I’m PRETTY SURE her response was “yes”. Then we watched some Tommy Wiseau interviews on youtube. Weirdooooooo.

happy wet Bear Cub
Look, a happy wet Cub! She sure is a scappy little thing when her fur is wet.

Bear Cub looks back
The weather forecast for this week promises GORGEOUS temps (well, over 70, anyway, and some sun, finally) so I’m looking forward to lots of outdoor fun times with my furry friends. And the hammock arrives on Wednesday! Yaaaaaaayyyyyyy! I can’t wait.
