Protesters, John Waters-style.

Starting tomorrow I am joining Corinne as she participates in the Great Kroger Strike of 2013. This means I won’t be able to shop at the normal grocery stores I shop at–no QFC, no Safeway, no Fred Meyers. I’ll have to shop at Trader Joe’s (love it but the nearest one is 30 minutes away), Central Market (so expensive), or, God forbid, Whole Paycheck (I’m no richie!). But it’s WORTH IT BABE ‘CAUSE I LOVE YA!

I’ve never participated in a strike before and, aside from being mildly annoyed by the lack of convenience and mad on Corinne’s behalf, I’m slightly excited. I’m gonna march with my Broad on a picket line! Maybe make a sign! A NEON sign! I just bought neon posterboard too, was that foreshadowing? Hmmmmmmmmmm.
